The Musical of Musicals (the Musical)
by Eric Rockwell and Joanne Bogart

The hit of the 2003-2004 off-Broadway season, The Musical of Musicals is really one story made into five hilarious satiric musicals, each written in the distinctive style of a different master of the form. June, an ingénue who can’t pay her rent, is threatened by her evil landlord, but will she be saved by her handsome leading man in time? This basic plot is musicalized as it might have been done by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Kander and Ebb. It’s “a real treat for the musical theatre buff but a fun time in the theatre for everyone!”
